With 2 beautiful sand beaches and 1 pebble beach in Almyrida its easy to spend your days down by the sea. If you enjoy being out on the water then you will not be disappointed by the crystal clear water and abundant fish that swim around the rocky edges.
There is also the uninhabited islet called Karga opposite the pebble beach. We headed off to explore it one morning with a back pack full of snorkelling gear, food and a lovely drink for our break time. One of us started on the Paddle board whilst the other swam. We made sure we chose a lovely clear sunny day with calm waters. Even from the board you can get a great view of the fish as you paddle.

Its approx 500m from the beach to the Islet and is a nice swim for confident swimmers. The waters around the islet are used by professional diving boats as the marine life is so amazing. Karma itself has ancient Greek-Roman ruins and offers beautiful view back to Almyrida bay and also Kera. If your planning on having a little explore in Karga itself then you will definitely want to make sure you have some sort of shoes as the terrain is quite rocky and sharp.

From here you can continue the adventure round to Kera beach, which is another 500m from Kerga. Kera has a nice sandy stretch of beach so perfect for a little stop to rest before heading back to Almyrida or continuing on to Kaleves.
